It is a type of protection, distinctive within the scope of industrial property based on the indication of origin, applied to an agricultural and \/ or food product, such as Colombian Coffee and where its specific geographical name allows to identify that they come from said origin and whose quality is directly linked to that origin.<\/p>\n

The DO distinguishes and protects Colombian Coffee <\/em> <\/strong> from other similar products that are produced in other regions of the world.
